Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud – Core HR Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. The consultant will work closely with HR business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into Oracle HCM solutions, and ensure successful delivery of Core HR functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR functional implementation and enhancement activities.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from HR, Payroll, Talent, and other business stakeholders.
• Configure Core HR modules including:
  • Enterprise Structures
  • Legal Employers
  • Business Units
  • Departments
  • Locations
  • Jobs and Positions
  • Grades and Grade Rates
  • Work Relationships
  • Person Management
  • Workforce Structures
• Configure and support Employee Lifecycle processes including hire, transfer, promotion, termination, rehire, and global transfer.
• Develop and maintain HCM Areas of Responsibility, Security Profiles, Roles, and Data Access.
• Configure Approval Workflows and HCM Transaction Console.
• Support Fast Formulas, value sets, lookups, and other functional configurations as required.
• Work with technical teams on HDL, HSDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher requirements.
• Participate in data migration, validation, reconciliation, and testing activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user guides.
• Conduct SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect analysis, and resolution.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot functional issues.
• Collaborate with integration, reporting, payroll, benefits, talent, and technical teams.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and assist with end-user training.
• Ensure Oracle HCM configurations follow business processes and Oracle best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud functional consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR.
• Expertise in Workforce Structures, Person Management, Employment Models, Jobs, Positions, Grades, Locations, and Organizations.
• Strong understanding of Hire-to-Retire / Employee Lifecycle processes.
• Experience with HCM Security and Role-Based Access Control.
• Experience with BPM/Approval Workflows and Transaction Console.
• Working knowledge of HDL/HSDL and HCM data migration.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
• Understanding of Oracle HCM integrations and ability to work with technical integration teams.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, and production support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle HCM Cloud certification is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle quarterly updates and regression testing.
• Knowledge of additional Oracle HCM modules such as Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting, or Talent Management is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
