Recap E-Invoicing Project Position

• Role Level: Requires a senior resource capable of coordinating the project and communicating requirements to leadership
• Technical Requirements:
• Strong experience in integration and shell scripting for data transfer via SFTP (avoiding middleware)
• Understanding of data flow into EBS
• Experience with Vertex e-invoicing would be a great asset

Responsibilities

• Integration design: Define the end-to-end integration design between Oracle ERP and Vertex, including the data flows, interface points, message formats, and error-handling approach, in coordination with the Vertex team.
• Data extraction and mapping: Build the logic to extract transaction and invoice data from Oracle and map it to the structure and fields Vertex requires, including required master and reference data.
• Connector and orchestration build: Where the scope for a given flow has been confirmed, develop the connectors and integration orchestration between Oracle and Vertex, typically implemented in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including outbound submission and inbound response flows.
• Response and status handling: Process clearance, status, and response messages returned by Vertex, updating Oracle where required and providing visibility into failures, rejections, and reprocessing.
• Testing support: Perform unit and integration testing of the developed components and support Client and Vertex through connectivity, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing cycles.
• Coordination and meetings: Attend project meetings, coordinate with the Vertex team and Client stakeholders, and act as the accountable technical owner for the integration work stream.
• Documentation and knowledge transfer: Maintain technical documentation for the integration design and build, and participate in knowledge transfer to support later phases and ongoing operation.
• Status reporting: Provide a weekly status summary covering hours consumed, work completed, open items, risks, and upcoming priorities.

Pay: $48.19 - $58.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
