About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming and database technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
• Write complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and analytical queries.
• Develop and maintain database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
• Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Analyze execution plans and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Handle database design, data validation, and data integrity.
• Debug and resolve database-related issues in development and production environments.
• Collaborate with application developers and other technical teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and relational database concepts.
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
• Good understanding of joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and complex queries.
• Experience in SQL optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of indexes, constraints, views, sequences, and database transactions.
• Understanding of exception handling, database normalization, and data integrity.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant Oracle Database and PL/SQL certifications will be preferred.
• Oracle certifications in database technologies, SQL, or PL/SQL development will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with large databases and complex applications is desirable.
