• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions .

• Perform unit, integration, regression, and functional testing on Oracle applications.

• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues in Oracle databases.

• Identify, report, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM , or Quality Center .

• Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure test coverage for all functional requirements.

• Automate PL/SQL test cases using utPLSQL , SQL Developer Unit Test , or other frameworks.

• Ensure data quality and integrity in production and non-production environments.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

• Strong experience in PL/SQL development and testing

• Expertise in:

  • Writing SQL queries , joins, subqueries
  • Creating and testing stored procedures, triggers, functions
  • Data validation and backend testing

• Familiarity with tools such as:

  • Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD
  • utPLSQL (unit testing)
  • JIRA, ALM, TestNG (for test management)
