About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Oracle Training & Support Coordinator to join a busy procurement and supply chain function. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting Oracle or similar ERP systems, delivering user training, and providing first-line support across a diverse stakeholder base.
You will play a key role in supporting employees and external users with procurement system queries, training delivery, user administration, and continuous process improvement. Working closely with Procurement, Finance, IT, Accounts Payable, and other business functions, you will help ensure systems are used effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide procurement and business process support to users of Oracle R12 (or equivalent ERP system) through a ticketing platform.
- Act as a central point of contact for procurement-related system queries and support requests.
- Deliver Oracle system and procurement compliance training to users across the organisation.
- Manage system and supplier queries within agreed service levels and performance targets.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, IT, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and other stakeholders to resolve cross-functional system issues.
- Support users with more complex technical or process-related issues via phone, screen sharing, or face-to-face sessions.
- Assist in developing and updating training materials, user guides, and support documentation.
- Monitor support trends and maintain KPI reporting to identify training and communication opportunities.
- Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Support the creation and delivery of training materials for sourcing and supplier management platforms.
- Maintain user access, approval workflows, and organisational hierarchies within procurement systems.
- Assist with ongoing process improvement initiatives and compliance requirements.
- Support wider transformation and continuous improvement programmes across the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience using Oracle R12 or a similar ERP/procurement system.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or a comparable ticket management platform.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
- Experience providing user support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating system-related activities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Confidence delivering training sessions and creating user documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
Desirable Experience
- A relevant third-level qualification or professional accreditation.
- Experience within procurement, supply chain, utilities, infrastructure, public sector, or a similarly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, compliance requirements, or finance-related workflows.
- Experience supporting system testing, implementations, or business change initiatives.
What's on Offer?
- Opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team.
- Exposure to large-scale procurement and business transformation activities.
- Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- A varied role combining system support, stakeholder engagement, training delivery, and process improvement.
- The chance to make a real impact in a business-critical function.
If you have a passion for systems support, user engagement, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
