Oral Surgeon

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

• Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures such as dental extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, cyst removal, and other complex surgeries with precision and care
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, clinical examination, and diagnostic imaging interpretation using medical imaging tools
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with patient needs and healthcare regulations, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and state healthcare standards
• Collaborate with general dentists, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient care using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
• Maintain strict infection control protocols utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures
• Provide clear client communication regarding treatment options, post-operative care instructions, and expected outcomes
• Document all procedures accurately in medical records while complying with medical documentation standards and legal requirements
• Assist in training staff on the latest surgical techniques and dental terminology to promote continuous learning within the team

Experience

• Proven experience as an Oral Surgeon or in a similar advanced dental surgery role within a dental clinic or healthcare setting
• Extensive knowledge of oral anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques
• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
• Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics procedures including dental fabrication, and orthodontics support
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles for treating young patients requiring specialized care in pediatrics or pediatric dentistry settings
• Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning in complex cases involving dental implants or reconstructive surgery
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical records management and patient confidentiality
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly while demonstrating empathy and professionalism

Pay: $2,000.00 - $10,000.00 per day
