Orchard Supervisor

Turley Farms is seeking a motivated Orchard Supervisor to join our new Rockit apple orchard!

(Please note that NZ working rights and orchard/horticultural experience are essential.)

About the role

Working with the Orchard Manager, our Orchard Supervisor will help coordinate daily tasks, lead small teams, and help deliver orchard operations to a high standard across key seasonal activities.

Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

• coordinating daily tasks and leading small teams on the orchard floor

• hands-on work across pruning, thinning, tree training, and harvest

• leading by example and promoting safe and efficient work practices

• keeping the team focused and workflow running smoothly

• reporting to the Orchard Manager on operational progress and challenges.

What we're looking for

• Full NZ working rights essential
• Practical orchard or pipfruit experience essential
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a team
• Physical fitness and solid communication skills
• Familiarity with high-density orchard systems advantageous
• Experience with Rockit or other premium apple varieties advantageous
• First Aid certificate advantageous.
