Order Entry Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist to join our Asset Management team. This role is responsible for gathering, cleaning, processing, and maintaining data within company databases while supporting data integrity, normalization, quality assurance, analysis, and reporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience working with Oracle database products, Smart View, Microsoft Excel, and large or multidimensional data sets. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage recurring deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, validate, and process data for entry into company databases.
• Maintain and improve data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and normalization.
• Perform quality assurance and validation of imported data.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues.
• Work with large, disparate, and multidimensional data sets.
• Support recurring data management, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Assist with database-related projects and initiatives.
• Execute additional data analysis, reporting, and data-related projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency with at least one Oracle database software product, such as Oracle Cloud EPM or Hyperion.
• Experience using Oracle Smart View for Microsoft Office, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation tools.
• Experience with methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience working with large and disparate data sets.
• Experience working with multidimensional databases.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and priorities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
