Order Fulfillment Specialist - Full Time

Position Title: Order Fulfillment Specialist

Department: Fulfillment

Reports To: Fulfillment Supervisor

Job Summary: The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders in the BuyWander warehouse. This includes picking orders, collating items, assisting customers with carryout, providing a welcoming environment for customers, and processing returns.

Responsibilities:

• Order Picking:
• Retrieve items from warehouse locations according to pick waves using a smartphone and scanner.
• Verify order accuracy and ensure items are in good condition.
• Order Collation:
• Assemble picked items into customer orders and prepare them for customer pickup.
• Ensure all items are included in each order and are packed securely.
• Customer Assistance:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with carrying orders to their vehicles.
• Ensure that every item is accurately scanned out before leaving the building.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Returns Processing:
• Process customer returns according to company policies and procedures.
• Inspect returned items for damage and update inventory accordingly.
• Warehouse Organization:
• Maintain a clean and organized fulfillment area.
• Ensure items are stored in their designated locations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in order fulfillment or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to understand direction and communicate with a supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Wage:

• Monday-Friday, shifts are 8:30-5:00 and 10:30-7:00
• $18/hour starting wage
