The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our packaging and dispatch process. You will work across our clean room and packing stations, handling everything from delicate loose chocolates to operating our bar-wrapping machinery. As an experienced or core member of the team, you will also play a key role in welcoming and guiding our seasonal staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Chocolate Packaging & Clean Room Duties: Prepare and fold chocolate boxes, pack loose chocolates into boxes within the clean room, and wrap individual chocolates by hand.
• Machinery Operation: Wrap chocolate bars efficiently using our specialised bar wrapping machine.
• Order Fulfilment: Pack online customer orders and wholesale shipments accurately and neatly.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a spotless, food-safe packaging workstation at all times.
• Logistics & Stock Support: Assist with unloading deliveries, booking postage when required, and participating in regular stock counts.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a work buddy and mentor for new team members, and assist with training seasonal production staff during peak periods.

• Full Time Hours: we are looking for full time staff, but will consider part time candidates if they're the right fit for Quirky Chocolate.

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
