Order Management Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Order Management Coordinator to join our supply chain operations team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end order processing lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, warehouse distribution, transportation, and customer service. Your expertise will help optimize inventory levels, streamline shipping logistics, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Duties

• Manage and monitor order processing activities using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness from order entry to delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse management systems (WMS) to oversee inventory control, stocking, and materials handling processes.
• Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation to secure optimal pricing and terms.
• Utilize data analysis skills and tools like SQL, Excel data analysis, and Tableau to generate reports on demand planning, inventory levels, and supply chain analytics.
• Plan transportation logistics by working with freight providers, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners, and transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize shipping & receiving operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or delays and implement process improvements for continuous efficiency gains.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation for global shipments.
• Support freight management activities including transportation planning, freight cost analysis, and trade compliance documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with vendors, warehouse teams, customer service representatives, and logistics partners to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Skills

• Strong data collection and analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel (including spreadsheets), and Tableau for supply chain reporting.
• Extensive experience in warehouse operations, inventory management systems (such as AS400 or ERP platforms), and warehouse distribution processes.
• Knowledge of procurement practices including sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, pricing models, and category management.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and international trade regulations.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements within supply chain workflows.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management system (WMS), inventory control practices, manual handling procedures, and materials management.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate between procurement, warehouse operations, customer service, and logistics teams.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on demand planning, production planning (MRP), sourcing strategies, and inventory optimization.
