Order Management Specialist (6 months contract)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Order Management processes, providing guidance, support, and process improvements.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate results, and provide sign-off where required.
• Investigate and resolve issues raised by Account Management, customers, and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure customer Purchase Orders (POs) are accurately entered into the Order Management system with approved pricing within 24 hours of receipt.
• Proactively manage order backlogs to ensure orders remain ship-ready and free from Order Management-related holds.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Finance teams to resolve issues preventing order fulfillment and shipment.
• Ensure Just-In-Time (JIT) hub customer product withdrawals are invoiced accurately and promptly.
• Provide timely and accurate updates on order status, shipment schedules, and backlog inquiries.
• Independently resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate complex matters to the Team Lead or Manager when necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer records, correspondence, and documentation in compliance with company standards.
• Support audit and SOX compliance requirements by providing accurate documentation and process records.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, Sales, and Account Management teams regarding order-related inquiries and issues.
• Promote and support B2B integration initiatives, including customer onboarding and electronic order processing.
• Monitor system performance, report issues, and work closely with IT teams to ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Oracle R12 ERP, International Trade Control Systems, and shipping/logistics platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application within Order Management processes.
• Experience working in SAP environments and integrating business processes across multiple systems.

Working hours: 2:15 PM to 11:15 PM / 3:15 PM to 12:15 AM to support customers in the Europe region.
