Order Operations Lead

About the role

Transport Security manufactures ENFORCER® high-security locks trusted by commercial truck fleets, trailer manufacturers, and distributors across North America.

We're looking for an experienced Order Operations Lead who can keep customer orders moving accurately and efficiently while helping us improve how the work gets done.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around an ERP system, enjoys solving problems, and sees opportunities to make a process better. You'll manage orders from receipt through release to manufacturing, communicate directly with customers, and help build smarter workflows as we continue to grow.

What you will do

• Receive, verify, and enter customer orders arriving by email, phone, web store, and customer procurement portals (Coupa, Ariba, SAP), and release them to manufacturing on time.
• Process replacement key and keyed-alike orders using established verification procedures.
• Respond to customer questions on pricing, part numbers, lead times, order status, shipping, warranties, and returns.
• Prioritize a high daily volume of requests and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams about timelines.
• Research order history and account records to resolve incomplete or non-standard requests before entry.
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, operations, and accounting to resolve order issues.
• Identify inefficiencies in order intake and entry, write standard operating procedures, and work with leadership and our NetSuite administrator to build improvements into the system.
• Recognize sales opportunities in customer inquiries and route them to the sales team.
• Use specialized lock-code software to interpret lock/key codes, determine the correct product configuration, and transmit key-cutting specifications to production employees to ensure precise manufacturing.

What we are looking for

• 4+ years in B2B order management, customer operations, or inside sales support at a manufacturer or distributor.
• Hands-on experience owning an ERP or order management system. NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Experience processing orders through customer procurement portals.
• A track record of improving a process, such as an SOP you wrote or a workflow you redesigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and a calm, confident manner with customers.
• Strong Excel and Outlook skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.

Earns the top of the range: NetSuite depth beyond order entry (saved searches, item and customer records, workflow), experience with configurable or made-to-order products, and inside sales or account management experience.

We provide full training on our products, key systems, and procedures.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
