Order Picker

About the Role

Transit Freight Carrier is looking for a dependable Order Picker to help keep our daily freight operations organized and moving on schedule. In this hands-on position, you’ll locate products and materials, prepare orders, and make sure shipments are ready for the next step in the delivery process.

This role is well suited for someone who is reliable, physically active, and comfortable working as part of a warehouse and transportation team. Previous warehouse experience is not required we provide training.

What You’ll Do

• Locate and collect items based on order and shipment information.
• Check product numbers, quantities, and labels before items leave the picking area.
• Move completed orders to designated packing or staging areas.
• Prepare packages and freight for pickup or delivery.
• Help receive, sort, and organize incoming materials.
• Keep inventory and storage areas orderly and easy to navigate.
• Assist with basic stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Identify damaged or incorrectly picked items and notify the appropriate team member.
• Work with shipping and warehouse staff to meet daily priorities.
• Follow safe handling practices when moving packages and freight.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Take on additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
