Order Picker/Packer

Duties

• Efficiently pick orders using RF scanners and barcode scanning technology to ensure accuracy and speed
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit
• Load and unload shipments with proper manual handling techniques, adhering to safety protocols
• Manage inventory levels within warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform stock replenishment as needed
• Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy and product condition before shipping
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety standards and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, or related roles
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners with certification preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems for tracking stock levels
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and consistently meet productivity goals
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE use in a warehouse environment
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is highly desirable

Pay: $18.70 - $23.60 per hour
