Order Picker/Packer

In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their products promptly and in perfect condition. You'll utilize a variety of warehouse equipment and systems to streamline operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards. Duties

• Efficiently pick customer orders using RF scanners and barcode scanning technology, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Load and unload shipments with proper handling techniques to maintain safety and inventory integrity
• Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), perform stock counts, and update records accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments against documentation and preparing goods for dispatch

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics is a plus
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and repetitive motions safely
• Basic math skills for order accuracy and inventory management purposes
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, PPE use, and proper materials handling procedures
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during order picking and packing processes
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and operate equipment throughout shifts

Pay: $20.30 - $24.15 per hour
