Order Processing Clerk (Foods Division)

Location: HICOM-Glenmarie Industrial Park, Shah Alam, Selangor

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Order Processing Clerk to join our fast-growing Foods Division. In this role, you will manage daily sales order entries, issue delivery documentation, and support basic accounting tasks to ensure our fine food products are delivered accurately and on schedule to our retail and foodservice clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing & Invoicing: Accurately issue and generate Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and sales dockets for food division orders.
• Sales Order Reporting: Compile, track, and prepare daily sales order reports and inventory movement summaries for the food division.
• Basic Accounting Support: Assist with routine financial administration, including organized document filing, and reconciliations.
• Logistics & Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the food warehouse, sales reps, and delivery drivers to ensure daily order fulfillment deadlines and route schedules are met.

Requirements

1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in order processing, sales support, or basic accounting (experience in food distribution, FMCG, or fast-paced trading environment is an added advantage).
2. Languages: Competent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with basic Mandarin (required to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, or team members).
3. Location & Mobility: Must have own transportation/be mobile and willing to work on-site in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
4. Personal Attributes:

• Quick learner, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing pressure to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Meticulous with high accuracy in data entry and basic figures.
• Availability: Immediate vacancy — candidates available to join immediately or on short notice are highly preferred.
