We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Order Processing Clerk to join our team and play a key role in managing and fulfilling customer orders with precision and timeliness. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic food distribution company while working remotely in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer orders via email, phone, or order management systems.
• Enter orders accurately into the company’s order processing system.
• Verify product availability and coordinate with inventory and logistics teams as needed.
• Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve order discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Maintain organized records of all processed orders and communications.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Assist with generating reports related to order processing and inventory status.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with order management software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Familiarity with the food distribution industry is a plus.
