Order Processing Manager

Our client is part of an international technology group with about 13,000 employees at more than 100 locations worldwide. Their Business Area Technologies division stands for outstanding technology, developing customized solutions in machinery, process equipment, software, measuring instruments, and services for the process manufacturing and food & beverage industries. Our client’s Singapore entity provides Sales, Services, and Digital Solutions for the South and Southeast Asia-Pacific region.

Primary Function

The candidate will be responsible for quotation and order processing of spare parts sales to customers in the region, working closely with the Sales Manager, Services team, acquisition team and related departments.

Key Duties

• Handle day-to-day order processing activities: handle customer inquiries, create quotations and orders, monitor deliveries, invoice and follow up on payments, and issue quotation and order documents to customers accurately and on time.

• Actively push and develop the spare parts business in cooperation with the Sales Manager, Services. Keep close contact with customers, analyze their purchasing activities regularly, and propose spare parts sales initiatives and product promotions where necessary.

• Act according to the relevant processes based on the standards of the worldwide organization, and contribute to the continuous improvement of these processes.

• Make intensive daily use of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 HANA, given the high level of standardization and automation. Use of Salesforce for CRM will also be required in the medium term.

• Cooperate with various departments (sales, finance, manufacturing, technical service, including overseas factories) to ensure issues are solved accurately and on time.

Requirements

Training / Qualifications

• Diploma / university degree in business, engineering or a similar field, with experience in international offer and order processing of spare parts.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or high potential.

• Leadership experience: not required.

Skills

• MS Office (including Teams).

• SAP R/3, SAP S/4 HANA and Salesforce (an added advantage).

• Excellent communication skills.

• Good written and spoken English and Tagalog is mandatory (German language competency is an advantage).

• Competent knowledge of international contracts and financing.

• Technical understanding (i.e. process, mechanical and electrical engineering).

• Sense of responsibility and intercultural awareness.

• Team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues at HQ and other Sales and Services departments.
