Order Processing Specialist

Duties

• Process incoming orders accurately using warehouse management systems and ERP software, ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment by utilizing RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers to efficiently handle stock.
• Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts and updates within inventory management software to prevent discrepancies.
• Coordinate shipping logistics including scheduling shipments, preparing shipping & receiving documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize order picking & packing processes while maintaining safety standards with equipment like forklift and pallet jack.
• Maintain detailed data entry records of all transactions, shipments, and inventory movements for audit purposes.
• Support international trade compliance by understanding import/export regulations and ensuring proper documentation for cross-border shipments.

Skills

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, and inventory management software.
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment procedures.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication purposes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklift certifications, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Skilled in data entry with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy across all documentation.
• Exceptional customer service skills to address internal teams’ needs and support client satisfaction through timely order processing.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations such as stocking, load & unload activities, packaging, picking & packing, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).

Pay: $24.18 - $29.12 per hour
