A Staten Island-based firm is seeking a full-time Order Processing Specialist to join our team. This position offers a competitive benefits package.

Position Summary

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, processing, and updating customer orders using our proprietary Order Processing System. The position requires extensive follow-up with vendors and internal staff by phone and email, as well as strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, process, and modify orders using the company's proprietary Order Processing System.
• Review orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal staff.
• Follow up with vendors and co-workers by phone and email to resolve issues and obtain necessary information.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of orders and related communications.
• Reconcile discrepancy reports and credit card transactions.
• Enroll and maintain new vendor accounts.
• Learn and utilize various automated systems and software applications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new computer systems and software.
• Proficiency with email and internet applications is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous order processing, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
