Order Processor

RAM Buildings has been serving Minnesota since 1999, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship, integrity, and lasting customer relationships. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Order Processor who wants to grow with us.

In this role, you will help move post frame projects from a signed contract to a construction-ready plan. You will create and revise drawings, organize critical project information, and work closely with sales, the lumberyard, crew managers, vendors, and field teams to make sure each project is accurate, complete, and ready to build.

What You Will Do:

• Process sold projects and prepare accurate, complete documentation for production.

• Review contracts, plans, selections, and project details for accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate project specifications with sales staff, crew managers, vendors, the lumberyard, and field crews.

• Revise post-frame construction drawings and building layouts.

• Communicate with the sales team about color selections, revisions, missing information, and other project details.

• Maintain organized project files and keep internal systems current.

• Manage multiple timelines and meet processing deadlines as projects move toward construction.

• Participate in pre-construction handoff meetings and respond to project questions during construction.

What Will Help You Succeed:

• Knowledge of post-frame construction is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized across multiple projects.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to ask questions, identify concerns, and follow through.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to reviewing plans and resolving project details.
• The ability to collaborate with office, yard, vendor, and field teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems; familiarity with drafting software is recommended.
• Experience in drafting, construction design, or construction administration is preferred.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $22.00 – $31.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
