Order Processor

Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for an Order Processor based at our Merthyr Tydfil depot.

Due to growing business we are looking for additional an Order Processor to join our busy Telesales team. Full training will be provided but some previous customer service experience would be advantageous.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls
• Call allocated customers for orders
• Ensure attention to detail when taking orders
• Inform customers of product shortfalls and price increases/decreases
• Communicate with Drivers and Managers regarding any issues with customer accounts
• Take messages off answer machines
• Carry out general administrative duties as required

A confident telephone manner and strong communication skills are required for this role along with the ability to work in a busy team environment. Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel is essential.
