Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in order processing or a related role
• Experience in the cabinetry or manufacturing industry preferred
• Experience with advanced order management systems preferred
• Understanding of order processing procedures and best practices
• Familiarity with order management systems and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in data entry and order management software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple orders and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
• Ability to resolve issues and provide excellent customer support

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and manage customer orders in the system, ensuring all details are correct, complete, and in accordance with customer specifications
• Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure orders are processed, fulfilled, and shipped according to schedule, and communicate any issues or changes in order status
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all orders, including order status, delivery schedules, and customer information, and manage and update order documentation as needed
• Address customer questions and concerns related to their orders, provide updates on order status, and resolve any issues that arise
• Coordinate with inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels for order fulfillment and report any inventory discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze reports related to order processing, including metrics on order accuracy, fulfillment times, and customer feedback
• Assist with general administrative duties related to order processing, including filing, data entry, and maintenance of order-related documentation
