About Us

Job Site Recyclers is an Australian-owned construction site cleaning and resource recovery business supporting builders across metropolitan Melbourne. Since 2010, we have grown into a large specialist operation with multiple recycling depots, an extensive field workforce, and purpose-built scheduling systems. We help builders maintain safe, efficient, and well-presented sites while recovering and recycling more than 95% of construction waste.

About the Role

We are seeking an analytical, process-driven Organisation and Methods Analyst to review, optimize, and streamline our operational workflows, business structures, and service delivery systems.

Working closely with executive management, operations managers, scheduling teams, and IT personnel, you will play a key role in analysing current business practices, mapping end-to-end workflows, identifying operational bottlenecks, and designing structured systems for continuous improvement. This is a critical advisory and practical implementation role ideal for an analyst who thrives on converting complex operational data and field procedures into efficient, standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map, document, and critically evaluate existing operational workflows, logistics routines, depot procedures, and field management tasks across the business.
  • Conduct method studies and workload analyses to optimize resource allocation, vehicle utilization, waste sorting workflows, and scheduling turnaround times.
  • Design, draft, and update comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, organizational charts, and policy guidelines to ensure business-wide compliance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal scheduling and job management software, collaborating with teams to recommend technology enhancements and automate manual administrative workflows.
  • Collect, model, and analyze operational metrics, such as turnaround times, field productivity, depot processing efficiency, and waste recovery rates to drive data-led operational decisions.
  • Partner with management, depot supervisors, and field leaders to smoothly roll out new procedures, systems, organizational structures, and training frameworks.
  • Assist management in developing operational objectives, strategies and improvement plan to optimise organisational resources, enhance service delivery and support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, eliminate redundant activities, and implement quality management frameworks to enhance overall service reliability and profitability.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including logistics, operations, finance, and client management, to ensure alignment between operational methods and overall strategic growth goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as an Organisation and Methods Analyst, Process Improvement Analyst, Business Analyst, or Operations Specialist—preferably within waste management, construction, logistics, supply chain, or service operations.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex operational data, diagnose systemic inefficiencies, and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Outstanding written communication skills with demonstrated experience authoring clear SOPs, technical documentation, operational reports, and procedural manuals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, present findings clearly to senior management, and manage change effectively with field personnel and operational staff.
