Are you passionate about developing people capability and creating learning solutions that make a real difference?

We are seeking an experienced Organisational Capability Lead to join a purpose-driven industry training organisation. In this newly established role, you will play a key part in ensuring people have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver on organisational goals through high-quality Learning & Development initiatives. 

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on learning and capability role where you'll assess organisational capability needs, design and facilitate engaging learning programmes, and work closely with leaders and subject matter experts to build workforce capability. You'll help shape a learning culture by developing practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that support performance, professional development, workforce planning, and organisational change. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying capability and skills gaps across the organisation.
• Designing and delivering learning programmes, workshops, leadership development, and digital learning solutions.
• Facilitating training and train-the-trainer programmes.
• Developing learning resources, guides, online content, and supporting documentation.
• Managing and improving internal training resources and learning systems.
• Supporting change initiatives through learning design and capability uplift.
• Partnering with leaders, project teams, and external providers to deliver effective learning outcomes.

 

About You

You will be an experienced L&D or organisational capability professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery.

You'll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in education, organisational psychology, human resources, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in learning, organisational development, capability, or a similar field.
• Experience identifying capability needs and translating them into effective development solutions.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Experience developing learning content and programmes across multiple delivery channels.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and digital learning platforms.
• A commitment to creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences.
