What they need

Brief Description Be the next FACE of MRA! Friendly. Accountable. Centered on Members. Engaged. That's the FACE Culture - and what we live and breathe here at MRA. MRA - The Management Association is a member-focused organization dedicated to helping businesses succeed through HR expertise, consulting, training, and talent solutions. We are seeking an experienced Organization Development Director to partner with member organizations in strengthening leadership, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and driving business success.

The Role As an Organization Development Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to business leaders and HR professionals across a variety of industries. You'll work closely with member organizations to diagnose challenges, develop practical solutions, and deliver organization development services that improve leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce performance, and organizational success.

You'll have the opportunity to facilitate leadership development programs, provide coaching, guide organizational change initiatives, and help organizations build the talent and capabilities needed to achieve their strategic goals.

Because this is an on-demand role, your workload will shift based on active member assignments. The ability to pick up new projects quickly, manage several at once, and pivot when priorities change is essential. Please note: This is an on-demand role with no guaranteed hours. Assignments are project-based and vary in scope and duration — making it an ideal fit for who values flexibility over a predictable schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver organization development consulting and advisory services to member organizations.
  • Facilitate leadership development, management development, and team effectiveness programs.
  • Design and deliver customized training workshops and professional development programs.
  • Conduct organizational assessments and provide recommendations that improve effectiveness and business performance.
  • Partner with executives and HR leaders on talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Provide executive, leadership, and professional coaching services.
  • Support organizational change initiatives through effective change management strategies and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions and organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders, executives, and HR professionals.
  • Prepare consulting recommendations, presentations, assessments, and project deliverables.
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in organization development, leadership development, talent management, and workplace effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in Organization Development, Talent Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Five or more years providing consulting, coaching, facilitation, training, leadership development, or talent management services.
  • Expertise in organization development principles, organizational effectiveness, change management, and leadership development.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training programs, workshops, assessments, and organizational interventions.
  • Strong consulting and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility with executives, business leaders, and HR professionals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze organizational issues and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual facilitation platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Leadership, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPTD, PCC, ACC, DiSC, MBTI, Prosci, or similar credentials.
  • Experience working in a consulting, professional services, association, or member-focused organization.
  • Experience facilitating strategic planning, succession planning, culture transformation, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing organizational assessments, talent assessments, and workforce analytics.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, performance management, and change leadership methodologies.
  • Experience supporting organizations across multiple industries.
  • Experience developing and delivering both in-person and virtual learning programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities that expand client relationships and organizational impact.

Why MRA At MRA, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside leaders from organizations of all sizes and industries, helping them navigate workforce challenges and achieve meaningful results. You'll be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional member experiences while making a measurable impact on organizational success.
