Orientation Manager

Position Summary The Orientation Manager is responsible for facilitating new hire orientation, tracking training progress, and providing hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder coaching within restaurant operations. This role partners with restaurant leadership to ensure employees are properly trained, developed, and equipped to meet company standards while creating a positive onboarding and learning experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire orientation sessions.
• Track training completion, class attendance, and employee development progress.
• Provide on-floor restaurant training and coaching as needed.
• Assist employees with onboarding questions and direct concerns to appropriate leadership.
• Maintain accurate onboarding and training records.
• Coordinate with restaurant leadership regarding new hire and training needs.
• Promote a positive onboarding experience and support employee retention efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Restaurant, training, or onboarding experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between restaurant locations as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and provide hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder training and coaching.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and actively participate in restaurant operations for extended periods.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
