About the Role:

At Original Skiff, we pride ourselves on delivering an elevated dining experience with impeccable service. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing refined, attentive service while curating a memorable experience for our guests. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs in a sophisticated dining setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, setting the tone for their dining experience.
• Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring all orders meet presentation and quality standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service throughout their meal.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary restrictions with attentiveness and professionalism.

Dining Room Coordination & Cleanliness:

• Monitor table progression to ensure efficient service and a smooth dining experience.
• Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Assist with table management, working closely with the host and service team to optimize seating flow.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment.

Operational Support & Teamwork:

• Accurately process payments
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Assist with side work, such as stocking service stations, polishing glassware, and maintaining supplies.
• Support teammates as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

• Prior serving experience, preferably in an upscale or high-volume setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
