Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline)
  • Proficiency with electrical test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers)
  • Ability to work long term night shift schedule, including weekends and occasional holidays.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Ability to lift test equipment (typically up to 40 lb) and work at various heights or confined spaces.

  • Basic exposure to crewed spacecraft or high‑reliability flight hardware (e.g., academic projects, co‑op assignments, internships – especially any night‑shift or off‑hour testing).
  • Fundamental understanding of test engineering processes—test plans, procedures, execution—gained through coursework, labs, or short‑term projects.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently while always following approved procedures and coordinating with the broader team.
