Holiday Traditions is an established personalized-gifts company looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production team.

A key part of this position involves handwriting names, dates, and special messages onto personalized Christmas ornaments. You'll also help with other aspects of our business, including order fulfillment, packing, quality control, and general production activities.

We're looking for someone with naturally neat, attractive handwriting who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work, and is willing to help wherever needed.

This is a hands-on position in a busy, team-oriented production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ornament Personalization

• Handwrite names, dates, and short messages onto Christmas ornaments.
• Follow customer personalization instructions accurately.
• Maintain neat, attractive, and consistent handwriting.
• Ensure correct spelling, spacing, and placement.
• Handle delicate ornaments carefully.
• Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy.

Production & Order Fulfillment

• Pick and organize products for customer orders.
• Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Check orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Help maintain organized inventory, shelves, and workstations.
• Assist with receiving and stocking products.
• Support other production and personalization processes as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Excellent, neat, and legible handwriting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform detailed work.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and assist in different areas of the business.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work well with others.
• Comfortable standing, moving around, and performing hands-on production tasks.

Helpful but Not Required

• Experience with calligraphy, lettering, or artistic handwriting.
• Previous production, packing, or order fulfillment experience.
• Experience working with personalized products or crafts.

Training will be provided.

Handwriting Assessment

Because handwriting is an important part of this position, selected applicants will be asked to complete a short handwriting assessment during the interview process.

We'll evaluate handwriting appearance, legibility, consistency, spelling, and spacing.

Professional calligraphy experience is not required. We're looking for naturally attractive handwriting, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately at a steady pace.

Compensation

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
