Orthodontic Assistant

We are a doctor owned orthodontic practice searching for a professional that is looking to grow long term with our orthodontic family. Our team is dedicated to creating incredible patient experiences and results. Looking for a self-motivated individual that enjoys building and maintaining positive relationships with patients. Prior dental experience preferred. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in orthodontics, have a hard working personality and the willingness to learn.

Office hours are Monday thru Thursday from 7:30am to 5:00PM

Hourly rate is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• preform orthodontic procedures under the supervision of the orthodontist
• preform procedures such as Itero scans, x-rays and photographs
• prepare treatment chairs
• sterilize instruments
• educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care in a caring manner
• adhere to all infection control policies and protocols

Skills:

• high school diploma or equivalent required
• multi-tasker with attention to detail
• excellent communication skills

• team player with a warm friendly personality
• able to anticipate the needs of others
• flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
