Are you energetic, dependable, and someone who loves being part of a team? APDAO is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant Runner to join our growing orthodontic team!

As an Orthodontic Assistant Runner, you will play an important role in keeping our clinical team organized, prepared, and moving efficiently throughout the day. This is a hands-on support position where no two days are exactly alike. You’ll work alongside our orthodontic assistants and clinical team to help create a smooth, positive experience for both our patients and our staff.

This is a paid position with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop valuable skills in a thriving, patient-centered orthodontic practice.

Our normal workweek is Monday–Thursday!
That's right — most Fridays are OFF! YAY!

What You'll Do

• Support our orthodontic assistants by preparing treatment areas and ensuring chairs are clean, organized, and ready for patients.
• Help keep the clinical schedule running smoothly by assisting with patient flow and entering appointment information into the computer system for both the current and next appointment.
• Clean and disinfect dental chairs, treatment areas, and clinical equipment according to established infection-control procedures.
• Follow proper sterilization and infection-prevention procedures to maintain a safe environment for our patients and team.
• Assist the clinical team during orthodontic procedures by providing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Transport dental instruments to and from the sterilization area/lab.
• Help wherever you are needed most throughout the day.
• Maintain patient privacy and protect confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Keep clinical areas stocked, organized, and ready for the next patient.
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
