Orthodontic Dental Assistant

TMJ Sleep Airway Orthodontics is a premier specialty practice dedicated to airway-focused orthodontics, sleep-disordered breathing, TMJ treatment, and advanced orthodontic care. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during orthodontic procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide exceptional chairside care
• Take digital impressions, intraoral scans, and diagnostic photographs
• Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT imaging
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by state regulations
• Educate patients on appliance care, oral hygiene, and treatment expectations
• Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to create an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

• Previous orthodontic experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a strong team mentality
• Comfortable learning new technology and treatment techniques
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Invisalign
• Traditional braces
• Palate expanders
• Airway-focused orthodontics
• iTero digital scanning
• CBCT imaging
• Cloud 9 Orthodontic Software

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
