Duties

• Welcome patients with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression of our practice
• Educate patients about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and financing plans in a clear and motivating manner
• Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating treatment timelines with clinical staff to optimize patient flow
• Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with financial arrangements to ensure understanding and satisfaction
• Prepare and review treatment plans, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
• Follow up with patients regarding appointments, payments, and post-treatment instructions to foster ongoing engagement
• Maintain organized patient records, update charts regularly, and ensure confidentiality at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment, preferably within orthodontics or dentistry
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex treatment details clearly and confidently
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in office management software and dental/medical scheduling systems
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes and financial counseling for healthcare services
• Prior experience in dental office settings or orthodontic practices is highly desirable

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
