Job Summary

Duties

• Diagnose malocclusions and develop comprehensive, customized treatment plans for patients of all ages
• Utilize digital tools such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design precise orthodontic appliances and aligners
• Apply your knowledge of anatomy to ensure safe and effective placement of braces, retainers, and other orthodontic devices
• Use medical imaging techniques, including X-rays and 3D scans, to assess jaw structure and monitor treatment progress
• Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and proper appliance care to foster understanding and compliance
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatments as needed to achieve optimal results
• Maintain detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and imaging data

Requirements

• Valid dental license with specialization in orthodontics or certification as an orthodontist
• Proven experience in designing and implementing orthodontic treatment plans using CAD technology
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to the craniofacial region
• Proficiency with medical imaging tools such as X-ray machines and 3D imaging software
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team
• Commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in orthodontics and dental technology
