Orthodox Tea Maker

• The Orthodox Tea Maker is responsible for overseeing the entire traditional tea manufacturing process—from green leaf reception to final grading and packing.
• Unlike automated CTC production, orthodox tea making relies heavily on sensory judgment, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of process engineering.
• The primary goal is to preserve the natural leaf structure and manipulate temperature, moisture, and rolling pressures to produce premium, highly aromatic whole-leaf teas.
• Regularly taste and analyze daily tea batches for aroma, flavor clarity, liquor colour, and leaf appearance to verify grade consistency.
• Ensure all batches comply with food safety, hygiene, and international certification standards.
• Supervise the cleaning, calibration, and routine upkeep of rollers, sifter tables, continuous fermenting belts, and electrical control systems.
• Ensure workers utilize safety guards, emergency shut-offs, and maintain a hazard-free processing floor

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a tea processing factory.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
