𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Orthopedic Surgery Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced orthopedic surgeons to serve as Orthopedic Surgery Advisors. This role is ideal for physicians with expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine care, fracture management, rehabilitation, ambulatory surgery, orthopedic devices, digital health, healthcare AI, and value-based musculoskeletal care.

As an Orthopedic Surgery Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic guidance to support Fruit Street Health's virtual care platform and future musculoskeletal health initiatives. Advisors will help ensure digital health solutions align with orthopedic best practices while identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes, recovery, mobility, preventive care, and care coordination. This is a flexible, remote advisory opportunity for orthopedic surgeons interested in advancing virtual care and healthcare innovation.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical guidance on musculoskeletal health, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, injury prevention, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine disorders, fracture care, and related orthopedic conditions.
• Advise on the development and evaluation of virtual orthopedic care pathways, remote patient monitoring programs, digital therapeutics, healthcare AI, and patient engagement strategies.
• Support leadership in identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes, care coordination, mobility, recovery, and value-based musculoskeletal care.
• Share expertise regarding orthopedic workflows, clinical best practices, patient education, digital health adoption, and integration with primary care and chronic disease management.
• Participate in periodic advisory board meetings and provide strategic recommendations to support Fruit Street Health's long-term clinical innovation and growth.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing orthopedic surgery.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery preferred.
• Experience in musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine surgery, trauma, orthopedic rehabilitation, digital health, telemedicine, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation preferred.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic clinical workflows, patient recovery, rehabilitation, multidisciplinary care, and evidence-based musculoskeletal treatment.
• Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.
