Orthopedic Surgical Technologist

Role: Certified Orthopedic Surgical Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and assist with patient positioning and prepping
• Maintain sterile fields and handle orthopedic instruments and implants
• Manage surgical equipment and support procedures such as casting, splinting, and dressing
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure safety and efficiency
• Adhere to hospital and regulatory standards while supporting quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified Orthopedic Surgical Technician credential
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
