OSAT Test Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Operations Manager to lead and oversee semiconductor Final Test manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving production performance, yield improvement, operational efficiency, capacity planning, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external OSAT partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily Final Test production operations, ensuring efficient lot movement, test program releases, and hardware readiness.
• Drive yield improvement, OEE enhancement, test time optimization, and reduction of retest rates.
• Manage NPI activities and ensure smooth transition into High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Coordinate with internal manufacturing sites and OSAT partners to resolve production and test-related issues.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering teams on capacity planning, equipment forecasting, and hardware procurement.
• Manage capacity expansion initiatives to support business growth and customer requirements.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, test operations, production management, or people leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor test processes, test equipment, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience in yield improvement, OEE management, and production optimization.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and Why-Why Analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing OSAT partners and semiconductor test operations is an added advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
