OSH Consultant SO4

The OSH Consultant (SO4) is the strategic safety leader for our logistics, warehousing, and fleet operations. This role is responsible for designing, auditing, and continuously improving the company-wide OSH Management System, ensuring strict compliance with DOLE standards (RA 11058), and minimizing risks across all hubs and transport networks.

• Strategic Governance: Design and update the corporate OSH Program for multi-site logistics hubs; serve as the primary liaison with DOLE and BFP.

• Risk & Fleet Safety: Lead HIRADC for warehouses and establish safety protocols for fleet operations (defensive driving, fatigue management, and forklift safety).

• Audits & Inspections: Conduct technical safety audits across regional offices, delivery hubs, and warehouses.

• Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause investigations for serious incidents or road accidents; implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide the central OSH Committee and mentor junior Safety Officers (SO1/SO2/SO3) across branches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Logistics Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in OSH, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within logistics, supply chain, or warehousing.
• Mandatory DOLE Credentials (SO4 Requirements)
• DOLE Accredited OSH Consultant (or fully qualified SO4).
• Completion of 40-hour BOSH + 80 hours of Advanced/Specialized OSH training (e.g., Fleet Safety, Ergonomics).

·         At least 320 hours of relevant OSH training/experience as prescribed by DOLE.

Preferred Skills

·         Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO).

·         Familiarity with ISO 45001 standards and Dangerous Goods handling.
