At MACSEYE, we’re committed to creating warm, engaging spaces where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program in Chelseais expanding, and we’re looking for a permanent part-time educatorto step in and help the service thrive.

About the Role

We offer permanent and casual opportunities, ideal whether you’re beginning your journey in education or bringing experience to a vibrant, supportive team. You’ll help guide children before and after school through fun, enriching, and purposeful activities.

Permanent Part-Time $30–$38/hr + Super + Allowances | Casual up to $46/hr

Hours of Work
🌇 Afternoon: 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Job Description

Your Role as an Educator

🌟 Create Safe and Inspiring Spaces
Design environments where children feel secure, supported, and motivated to explore and learn.

🎨 Plan Engaging Experiences
Lead hands-on, fun, and creative activities that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

🤝 Build Strong Connections
Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming, community-focused environment.

🌱 Champion Wellbeing and Growth
Support each child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs while promoting overall wellbeing.

✨ Collaborate and Innovate
Work closely with your team to co-create programs that reflect children’s interests, ideas, and voices.

Qualifications

🙌 What You’ll Bring

• A genuine passion for working with children
• A warm, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
• Cert III (or higher) in an ACECQA recognised qualification (or currently studying)
• Valid First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and Australian work rights (or able to obtain these)
