OST Program Staff Manager

Horizons After School Program is seeking a dependable and organized Program Manager to oversee our expanded evening childcare program for children ages 3–12. The Program Manager will work closely with the Program Director, supervise employees, coordinate daily activities and ensure children remain safe and properly supervised.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 4:30–10:30 p.m.
• Approximately 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and program employees.
• Maintain required staff-to-child ratios.
• Coordinate activities, meals, homework time and evening routines.
• Manage attendance, sign-in/sign-out and authorized pickups.
• Communicate professionally with families.
• Complete incident reports and other required documentation.
• Follow emergency, sanitation and licensing procedures.
• Ensure the facility is cleaned, secured and properly closed each night.
• Communicate daily updates and concerns to the Program Director.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of experience in childcare, education or a related program preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be dependable and comfortable managing an evening program.
• Must pass all required background checks.
• Must complete required ECECD health, safety and professional-development training.
• Must meet, or be able to meet, ECECD requirements to serve as a site director or designated co-director.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Childcare: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Deming, NM 88030: Relocate before starting work (Required)
