We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive osteopathic care focused on improving patient health through manual therapy techniques, patient education, and holistic treatment plans. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ musculoskeletal health, including medical history review and physical examinations
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing osteopathic techniques such as manipulation, mobilization, and soft tissue therapy
• Provide clear communication to patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate case management records and update patient files regularly using electronic health record systems like Microsoft Word and Excel
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing staff, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage time effectively to see multiple patients daily while ensuring quality care and attention to detail
• Stay current with medical terminology updates, industry best practices, and ongoing professional development in acute care and pediatrics

Experience

• Proven experience working as an osteopath or in a similar manual therapy role within a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, case management protocols, and patient care procedures
• Experience with pediatric and acute care cases is highly desirable
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities (particularly French) are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word processing tools, and organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation effectively
• Demonstrated communication skills essential for explaining complex treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages
• Mechanical knowledge related to anatomy and physiology enhances the ability to perform effective treatments

Pay: $50.00-$100.51 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
