NOW HIRING: OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) / OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (OTA) IN HARRIS/MONTGOMERY COUNTY

KinDA Care Homehealth is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Occupational Therapists (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) to provide high-quality home health services to patients in their homes.

Home health visits

Responsibilities

Perform occupational therapy evaluations and assessments as ordered.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide therapeutic activities to improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).

Provide instruction in safety, transfers, mobility, adaptive techniques, and use of assistive equipment.

Educate patients and caregivers regarding home programs and safety strategies.

Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising clinician and physician as appropriate.

Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Collaborate with nurses, PT/PTAs, physicians, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Follow agency policies, Medicare requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist (OT):

Current, unrestricted OT license in the state of practice.

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.

Current CPR certification preferred.

Home health experience preferred but not required.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):

Current, unrestricted OTA license/certification in the state of practice.

Graduate of an accredited OTA program.

Current CPR certification preferred.

Home health experience preferred but not required.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
