OT Engineer - SCADA

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer to support and improve a critical Operational Technology environment. The role will combine day-to-day operational support with project work, including the assessment, selection and implementation of new OT technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide BAU support for OT and SCADA systems
• Monitor system performance, availability and security
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
• Maintain OT infrastructure, networks, access controls and technical documentation
• Gather technical and operational requirements for OT improvement projects
• Support product evaluations, vendor selection and proof-of-concept activities
• Assist with the implementation, integration, testing and transition of new products into BAU
• Work closely with operations, engineering, IT and cybersecurity stakeholders

Skills and experience

• Experience supporting Operational Technology or industrial control environments
• Strong working knowledge of SCADA systems
• Understanding of industrial control systems, OT networks and cybersecurity principles
• Experience delivering technology projects within operational or critical environments
• Ability to assess technical products and contribute to vendor or product-selection processes
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder-management skills

Nice to have

• Experience with an OT security platform such as Dragos, Claroty or Nozomi Networks
• Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, RTUs or industrial communication protocols
• Experience implementing new OT products and transitioning them into BAU support
• Experience within utilities, energy, manufacturing, transport or other critical infrastructure environments
