What they need
- Evaluation and assessment individual for areas of intervention.
- Planning treatment and providing it to the respective individual.
- Reviewing progress and upgrading the prescribed treatment as per the requirement.
- Educating the family and caregivers about their needs and how to provide adequate intervention
- Providing customized services as per the various disabilities of the person.
- Offering treatment and intervention sessions so that person can improve level of function.
- Preparing reports and attending multidisciplinary case meeting to decide and review the continuing treatment.
- Must be able to drive to meet individuals and day program or home
- Personal liability insurance
Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's Degree, or Phd in relevant field to position
State Licensure (MD, DC) in area of specialty (e.g. Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist; experience working adults with intellectual disabilities not required but preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $200.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
