OT Security Consultant (Manufacturing / PLC Environments)

Client: Global manufacturing company (via Protiviti)

For a major manufacturing client, Protiviti is looking for an experienced OT Security Consultant to support and improve cybersecurity across multiple production facilities throughout the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the OT Security focal point for manufacturing sites with PLC, HMI and industrial control systems .
• Conduct on-site OT security assessments and production-floor security reviews.
• Review and maintain OT asset inventories, network segmentation and VLAN configurations.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, patching activities and security remediation within OT environments.
• Perform access reviews and ensure compliance with OT security policies and change management procedures.
• Oversee backup and recovery processes for PLCs, HMIs and critical production systems.
• Coordinate third-party vendors and manage secure access to industrial environments.
• Support business continuity planning and OT incident preparedness.
• Provide regular updates to site leadership, engineering teams and central OT Security stakeholders.

Profile

• Proven experience in OT/ICS Security within manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, vulnerability management and OT governance .
• Experience working in operational production facilities.
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 or similar industrial cybersecurity frameworks is a plus.
• Based in the EU, preferably in the Netherlands
• Comfortable with frequent travel across EMEA.
