Title: Sr Automation Engineer (base Qingdao) Roles & Responsibilities

Working as an OSP OT SME you will design and deliver the technical aspects of

Automation and IT Integration on global capital projects. Giving technical governance and design assurance for supporting area all Automation /ITOT Convergency topic.

• Work with key business users to convert project requirements into an automation strategy and technical solution.
• Define core Automation and IT integration requirements on projects into User Requirement Documents: communicating theserequirements to vendors and ensuring that systems are specified and delivered in alignment with the automation strategy.
• Provide design assurance overview and technical feedback during capital project design - from concept through detailed design and equipment selection (Including where necessary, detailed design document reviews and sign off).
• Support Project Managers, Project Technical Managers and Work Package Owners during all phases of projects to include monitoring the flow of information between vendors, contractors, and internal resources to deliver design intent and meet quality standards.
• Support C&Q on testing and qualification activities (Including where necessary, document generation and test participation).
• Collaborate with Client team, provide OT operation model suggestion and make sure a smoothly handover of OT.

Experiences

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in automation system engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in managing and executing automation projects in a global setting, particularly in China and/or Europe.
• Experience in the full lifecycle of delivering automation systems in a licenced GMP commercial facility (Including the design, specification, procurement, installation, start up and commissioning of automation systems).
• Experience with automation software and tools such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Emerson.
• Familiarity with industry guidelines, standards and regulations, including GAMP5, GMP, FDA, and EU regulations.

Prefers

• Experience of supporting pharmaceutical process equipment or IT/OT infrastructure integration (Hosting/Network)
• Automation system integrator experience and pharmaceutical company experience.
