Responsibilities Job Description

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Operation Theatre (OT) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring high standards of treatment and care.
• Prepare and maintain OT and ICU equipment and ensure the surgical field remains sterile during procedures.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations by handing over instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in their condition, ensuring immediate attention and support in emergencies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including patient histories, treatment details, and post-operative notes.
• Educate and support patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery processes, and post-operative care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
